I've decided I need a break from the blogging world for a while. I have so much going on in my life right now that I don't seem to be able to find the time to blog anymore. There are a lot of changes happening at the minute, so when I return I shall have some exciting things to share.
I hope everyone stays happy and healthy :)

Spring Blossom
Firstly I want to apologise for my lack of post's and comments, for once it hasn't been my laziness! For the past month or so we've had no internet, which has been a Huge inconvenience! As my Mr topped up the dongle I thought it only right to do a quick post and reply to people that have took the time to post!
The past couple of weeks have been incredibly stressful, which resulted in me having being very emotional. I'm thankfully starting to get past it all, but the stress is still there unfortunately and will only go away when we move, which will hopefully be Very soon. I find it very frustrating when life seems to throw everything stressful at you at once! Things would be a lot easier to deal with if they weren't all to happen at the same time!
Anyway, rant over! I'm not one to put my stresses out there, so I apologise for that!
Last week we decided to go for a wonder around town, which was lovely. The old architecture makes me smile and I always notice something new, like this gorgeous blossom tree.
I also had a lovely first Mother's Day one Sunday! I had a much needed lie in, gorgeous breakfast and treated to sushi :) And some gorgeous English Daffodils, my favourite flower at this time of year!
I've got a busy week ahead. Whilst on a train in Scotland, my Mr discovered a lovely little band called Till This Night. They have a lovely sound and the lead singer, Danielle, has a gorgeous voice. I'm happy to be helping them out :)
I hope to get back into posting again, especially now my internet connection has returned!
I hope everyone has a great week :)

Country Walks and Blue Skies
I realised the other day that it has been a while since I last did a post. Unfortunately I've not been very well, so my days have consisted of vegging out on the sofa or in bed feeling rather sorry for myself! It didn't help that it has been gorgeous weather all week and I haven't been able to enjoy it, until yesterday that is. Me and my Mr decided that some good old fresh english air would do me some good, so we got Eden wrapped up and went for a drive.
As we drove through the stunning Derbyshire countryside, we spotted a lake in the middle of some fields and decided to investigate. After driving down a drive, we ended up at Longshaw Lodge, a stunning old building that was owned by the Duke of Rutland. The lodge was originally built as a shooting box for the then Duke for when he wanted to go shooting. The Longshaw Lodge is the central focal point of the vast Longshaw Estate.
Bit of history for you there :)
These are some of the photo's.
I'm seriously hoping that this weather is here to stay, there will definitely be more days like this :)
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend xx

Purrs and Claws
Well, its been a rather slow week in the mad house! The transition between the different months either goes extremely slow, or that fast I didn't even notice! Its a very welcomed change in month though, the weather (not wanting to jinx it) has brightened up so much and so has my mood in general! I do tend to suffer from bouts of SAD, which always fades as soon as the skys are blue again :) Spring is definitely on its way, at last!
On my last post I mentioned that I have a new kitten, which I named Bandit. Well, she isn't so much mine anymore :(
I thought she was a stray as she came round everyday without fail, and I thought no one else was feeding her as she wasn't putting any weight on at all. I am a Huge lover of cats, and I hated seeing this poor little one so skinny! She didnt just come round for food either, she'd stay and play after :)
So, anyway, I told my Mr that if I saw any posters for her go up, I'd of course give her back, but until that I'd look after the little mite. Two days later I saw a little girl and her dad looking for something over the walls on the street, and knew straight away. So I gave her back, after telling them that she needs to be kept in for six weeks otherwise she would come straight back. They said thank you and tottled off, I was happy knowing that a little girl had her kitten back. Happy, that was, until later that night when I saw a little paw on the conservatory door-Bandit had returned! And has done everyday since. So although she no longer stays in the conservatory, shes my little out-door baby :)
They do say cats pick their own home!
Here are a couple of photos of the lovely herself, and a couple of our other baby Rascal :)
The top two photos is Bandit and the bottom two is Rascal :)
I hope everyone's week is going well

Happy Smiley Day :)
Good day :)
I turned my laptop on, just to have a mooch really and found out that a lovely blogger called Jay at http://www.thatssofletch.blogspot.com/ had passed on the versatile blog award to me :)
Just a little post to firstly say thank you to Jay for picking my blog along with the other blogs she chose and, secondly, to explain what it is.

Just a little post to firstly say thank you to Jay for picking my blog along with the other blogs she chose and, secondly, to explain what it is.
The rules for these awards are:
1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to them in your post.
2. Tell us 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 10 recently discovered new bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and let them know they've received the award.
Here we go:
1) I have a new kitten named Bandit :)
2) I'm slowly learning how to cook
3) I enjoy nothing better then snuggling up on the sofa with my baby and Mr and cat
4) I seem to be collecting crystals, especially amethyst and rose quartz
5) My favourite colours at the moment are cream and coral
6) I would never have thought to start a blog if it wasn't for http://www.noirnouvelle.com/, so a thank you to a very special friend is in order!
7) Mornings are definately not my strong point!
These are the new blogs I'm following, they're all lovely and are definately worth checking out :)
I know theres meant to be 10, but I didn't want to just pick random blogs!
I hope everyone's week is going well :)

Domestic Goddess?
Sorry I haven't done a post for a while, life's been rather busy the past couple of weeks! As well as my Mr settling into his new job, we discovered that we're not moving after all, not in the immediate future anyway :(
On top of that, our little angel in teething so the house has been full of screaming and tears instead of music!
Around this time every year I decide that I've had enough of seeing clutter that has built up over the previous year and a big spring clean commences. Now generally, like most people, cleaning is not my most favoured way to spend my time, but I always enjoy my annual spring clean as I discover lost treasures, such as these:

I've been searching the shops for the colour on the left for a while, so it was lovely to come across this treasure! I've no idea where the earrings are from and, if I remember rightly, the flower head band is from Peacocks.
I'm not sure where the big turquoise ring is from, the black and gold ring is from Primark and the other two were gifts from a friend a couple of years ago.
I'm not known amongst my friends and family for being very good at the whole domestic thing, which is why I found it quiet amusing when I came across this:
As did my Mr, who let out a little chuckle when he say the title of the post! I have a feeling a certain little Miss http://www.noirnouvelle.com/ will be highly amused aswell (she's always laughing at my short comings in all things considered wifely!)
I shall try and do a post at least once a week from now on!
I hope everyone has a fab weekend :)
